Building Strong Bones

Building Strong Bones
Therapeutic Yoga for Strength, Balance & Confident Movement

Healthy bones are about more than bone density. They rely on strength, balance, posture, coordination, and the ability to move with confidence through everyday life.

Whether you're looking to protect your bone health, have been diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis, or simply want to stay active and independent, this three-week series offers practical, evidence-informed strategies you can begin using right away.

Each 75-minute session includes approximately 20 minutes of discussion followed by 40 minutes of therapeutic yoga practice, giving you the opportunity to immediately apply what you've learned in a supportive environment.

Together we'll explore:

  • Common myths and facts about osteopenia and osteoporosis

  • Safe, effective ways to build strength that support healthy bones

  • Balance strategies to help reduce the risk of falls

  • How the neuromuscular connection influences stability, movement, and confidence

This series is designed for everyone—from experienced yoga practitioners to those who have never taken a yoga class. Both mat and chair options will be offered throughout, making the practices accessible and adaptable to a wide range of abilities.

Class Dates:
November 17 & 24, December 1 & 8. All classes are from 9:00a-10:15a MST

Leave with a deeper understanding of bone health—and practical tools to help you move with greater strength, stability, and confidence.
